CONCEPT

With this project, we presented two versions of a children's playground, located on terrain with the same dimensions.

  • First Option

    The main motif in this option is animals and their way of life. It is planned that the pavement will be of several colors, and in some places different animals will be depicted. Steps will be placed between animals, which form entertaining games.

    There are facilities suitable for children from 0 to 12 years of age. It is planned to build a fence around the playground, which separates the playing environment from the surrounding space. The playground is arranged with two no. entrance/exit with a clear width of at least 1 m in order to ensure the free passage of a wheelchair as well as a stretcher for emergency medical care.

  • Second Option

    The main goal of this option is to develop a clean and functional playground. The flooring is planned to be in two colors. The main emphasis is the change in the elevation of some of the different elements.

    There are facilities suitable for children from 0 to 12 years of age. It is planned that the site will be built in a park environment, so it is not necessary to build a fence on all sides.

CONSTRUCTION

The two versions of the playground are located on an area of 186.16 sq.m. (20.5x10.5 sq.m.). The solution is with a shock-absorbing self-leveling floor covering - colored EPDM - 1 cm. and a pad of black SBR - 3 cm. The laying of this type of flooring is intended to be done on a smooth and solid base - reinforced concrete flooring - 10 cm. The concrete pavement is laid on a compacted earth base and a 20 cm thick crushed stone base. The pavement and concrete slab end with a garden border. It is planned that elements of the pavement will be filled with artificial grass. A fence made of a metal supporting structure and hpl boards, in which silhouettes of different animals are cut, is planned to enclose the site.
